Research on the Psychological Impacts of the Coronavirus Epidemic in the Czech Republic

The JUPSYCOR project, “Research on the Psychological Impacts of the Coronavirus Epidemic in the Czech Republic”, is a research focused on gathering information and authentic utterances about the Covid-19 situation from ordinary people, citizens of the Czech Republic.

In the first part of data collection (from March 18th to May 25th, 2020) the respondents (N=2716) provided demographic data, answered two open questions related to their perception and experience of the Covid-19 situation (i.e. utterances), and completed self-reporting questionnaires describing their emotional states in recent days. The data were collected for 68 days; this period was chosen with respect to the development of the pandemic situation in the Czech Republic. All the respondents were fully informed about the nature of the survey, asked for informed consent, and participated on a voluntary basis

The second part of data collection started in October 2020.
